Sustainability

We Are Part of Sectoral Transformation

The nonwovens sector is one of the fastest growing and most potential areas of the textile industry. However, this growth brings with it important responsibilities in terms of the use of natural resources, waste management and carbon emissions. With this awareness, we not only offer quality products, but also take environmental and social sustainability as a basis in the entire chain from production to the end user. Our aim is to both shape the future of the sector and create value by minimizing our environmental impact.

Resource Efficiency and Low Carbon Footprint

We invest in modern technologies that reduce energy and water use in our nonwovens production processes. Our highly efficient production lines help us reduce our environmental impact while preventing waste. We aim to reduce our carbon footprint with our plans to switch to renewable energy sources in our production facilities. At the same time, we contribute to the principles of circular economy by recycling the waste generated in the processes.

Responsible Production with Recyclable Raw Materials

Polypropylene (PP), which is used 100% in our production processes, is a recyclable thermoplastic with high technical performance. Although it is not biodegradable, PP's recyclable structure makes it possible to reuse waste and reduce environmental impact.

Accordingly, we design our PP-based nonwoven products with an environmentally sensitive approach and include them in the recycling cycle by minimizing production waste. In addition, in order to support the recyclability of our products after use, we facilitate separation by choosing simple and single-material structures.

For the future, we continue our R&D investments in areas such as PP derivatives with a lower environmental footprint, energy-efficient polymers with low melting temperatures and production processes that reduce carbon footprint.

Environmentally Friendly Product Design

In the product design process, we consider not only performance but also sustainability criteria. We develop solutions with materials that do not harm the nature in disposable nonwoven products, and prioritize the principles of reusability and recyclability in long-lasting applications. We aim to reduce our impact on nature by minimizing the use of plastic in our packaging.

Circular Economy and Waste Management

The nonwovens industry generates a significant amount of by-products and residual materials during production. We see these wastes as a new resource, not a burden. Thanks to our recycling systems, we include the waste from production in the re-evaluation processes. Thus, we reduce raw material consumption and alleviate the pressure on the environment. We also develop cooperation projects with our business partners on waste reuse.

Social Responsibility and Ethical Values

Sustainability is not only an environmental but also a human responsibility. Providing fair, safe and healthy working conditions for our employees is among our priorities. We support the development of our employees through training programs and create an inclusive and equitable working environment. We expect the same ethical standards from our suppliers and develop responsible business practices throughout our value chain.
